Knitting font

Cake. pie. and July.

This font has some common symbols used in knitting charts, numbers, and extra characters and symbols that could be used however you like. The image above is a sample chart that I made using my font and the spreadsheet program Numbers.

You can view and download the font here.

Here are some of the characters.

I tried to choose logical characters to go with each symbol. For example, p and P make the purl symbol. The k is a twisted knit stitch. For some stitches the lowercase is a knit version and uppercase is a purl version. Since the symbols for cables normally take up more than 1 block they are not included.

I used http://www.myscriptfont.com to make this font from my own handwritting.
